"...a gardener who knows his flowers and is ignorant of his weeds is like half a coin, a tail without a head." Sara B. Stein
This one might be creeping charlie/creeping jenny. Maybe?
I think this one is ground ivy ,Glechoma hederacea L. it has an unpleasant (at least to me) odor and spreads like crazy.
creeping charlie/ground ivy/glechoma hederacea...and also called gill-over-the-ground! and everywhere in my garden and yard!
This is one of those indicator weeds. It means the soil has poor drainage.
it's a creeping mint--look at it's 4-sided stem. smells good, too. i like it, keep it around. just don't let it creep everywhere like it wants too.
I love the smell of these little purple flowers! It says spring and sunshine and warmth to me.
