Pulled from my back yard, which is no longer being mowed. Is this what happens to grass when you let it go to seed? So ugly.

There is a median strip near here where all the different grasses and weeds have gone to seed, and it is absolutely stunning. Grass-gone-to-seed only looks funny in isolation. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder that grasses can be beautiful. I heard someone on the radio singing the praises of his unmown lawn. He said when the wind blows, he was in Indiana, his tall grasses sway and move like waves on an ocean. A nice image. So I apologize to my grass for calling it ugly.
