I still have no idea what this is. It's not a tomato. Looks like a gigantic marigold without the flowers.

    Tansy, maybe? (My husband planted tansy in one of my beds, and so far I'm not impressed. It's neither native, nor has impressive flowers, so I am inclined to replace it before it becomes unruly.)

    hmmmmm....could be. Wikipedia says tansy blooms in mid to late summer. If I don't see some flower action soon I'll also be inclined to say "off with its head!" Thanks!
